These seminars are forums for (but not limited to) talks from visiting
faculty as well as from the Mathematics and Statistics Department faculty.
The talks are about 45 minutes, followed by a 10-15 minute discussion,
and are geared for nonspecialist faculty and junior-senior level math
majors (knowledge of at least linear algebra and differential equations
is assumed). Anyone is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided
10 minutes before and after the talk.
